"I am writing this reference to confirm that Paul Watson was employed by us on our house build project in June and July 2008.

Paul worked on the two floors of our home doing the following tasks:

On the Second Floor

Paul formed 2 bedroom areas, 1 toilet and a living area using 75mm stud and track.  He used double plasterboard on either side, and 5 cm x 100 kg insulation in the void.  The overall dimensions of the walls were 125mm.  He taped and filled to the edges and joints.

On the First Floor

Here Paul fixed a hidden lighting trough to the living area.  He created a feature wall with concealed lighting to the bedroom and a concealed wall wash lighting using plasterboards.  In addition, he enclosed a wood burning fireplace with fire boards and 5 x cm 100 kg foil-faced Rockwool.

On asking Paul about his tools and having seen them on site I can confirm that he used the following to carry out the work: Laser Level, Hammer Drill, Stanley Knife, Chalk Line, Screw Gun, Plasterboard Lift, Tape Measure, Pad Saw and Battery Drill.

With regard to Paul’s work I have only very positive comments to make.  He was reliable, courteous, tidy, always worked from plan, liaised with us about costs, materials and timescales.  Since the completion of our house we have already recommended Paul to neighbours and friends who have been impressed with the work he has done for us.

I recommend Paul to anyone who is in the process of building their home."
